STAY TUNED FOR ADDRESS
As most people know, we aren't morning people so sleep in and then come by around noon for coffee and hangover food before you go explore the city or hop on your flight!
Where to stay
We have room blocks at a few incredible hotels which you can explore at the links below!
CDMX is also home to some really excellent Airbnbs which can be a more affordable option. If you are considering an Airbnb and want our opinion on it's location, feel free to reach out to us!
We recommend staying only within the neighborhoods of: Roma Norte, Condesa, Juarez or Polanco. Our venue is located in Jaruez. These neighborhoods all boarder each other and are home to the best restaurants, shopping, and nightlife in the city. (See our color coded neighborhood map at the bottom of this page!)
Ubers are extremely cheap in Mexico City (usually ~$5 anywhere) so no matter where you stay, it will be easy to walk or Uber to get around.
ROOM BLOCKS:
HOTEL VUESTRO (No room block)
We stayed here and absolutely loved it - the room, the street, the friendly staff and cafe were all 10/10 perfect and affordable. We do not have a room block here but wanted to recommend it as a great option. LINK: HOTEL VUESTRO
Questions
What's the attire
Festive cocktail attire .
What's the weather like in Mexico City in February?
Mexico City in February is sunny with mild temperatures. Generally mid 70s during the day and can get chilly at night so bring a light jacket.
How do we get to the wedding?
Depending on where you're staying, you can either walk or take an Uber. Ubers come fast and are extremely cheap in Mexico City. Rides are typically ~$5-10 from any of the recommended neighborhoods.
Do not attempt to take the pink city taxis, these are notorious for scams.
Is the water safe to drink in Mexico City?
No. Do not drink the tap water in Mexico City. Stick to bottled water for everything outside of showers. Ice is generally safe at the restaurants located in the recommended neighborhoods. We've never gotten sick in CDMX, but always better to be safe!
Do you have any recommendations for our trip to Mexico City?
We certainly do! Check out our city guide at THIS LINK
